Deuter Invites Community to Spring Outreach Events

ELMHURST, Ill. – State Rep. Marti Deuter, D-Elmhurst, is holding numerous outreach events over the next two months to help build closer ties with her community and learn more about local priorities and the issues facing her neighbors.

“The more I can engage with our community and have quality conversations with the people who drive our district forward, the better I can represent us in Springfield,” Deuter said. “Please don’t hesitate to stop by to share your thoughts or let us help you connect with a state agency.”

She will be holding the following events throughout March and April:

-Satellite Office Hours: Have a state-level question or concern? Join Rep. Deuter and state Sen. Glowiak Hilton’s staff at our joint satellite office hours. No appointments are needed, feel free to drop in anytime. March’s office hours will be held March 12 at 1450 Forest Gate Road, Oak Brook, from 6-8 p.m, and April’s office hours will be held April 28 at 7 North Prospect Avenue, Clarendon Hills, from 6-8 p.m.

-Fraud Prevention Education: Scam artists often see age as a vulnerability. As a result, seniors are frequent targets for a wide range of consumer fraud scams. Join Rep. Deuter, Sen. Glowiak Hilton and the office of the Attorney General to learn how to recognize potential fraud. The event will be held on March 30 at 4341 Saratoga Avenue, Downers Grove, from 2-3 p.m.

-Vehicle Emissions Testing: Complete your vehicle emissions test quickly and conveniently at a Mobile Testing Unit at the Western Springs Recreation Center. Check your eligibility at

ILAirTeam.com/vehicle-eligibility-check-tool. Testing will be offered from March 23-27 at 1500 Walker Street, Western Springs, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
