Advisory Groups

We’re excited to announce the creation of the Senior Advisory Group and the Youth Advisory Group. Both groups will meet at least one to two times to provide feedback, share concerns, and suggest solutions for issues that are relevant to their communities.

The Youth Advisory Group will focus on fostering civic engagement and gathering insight.  The feedback on potential policies and issues that matter to young people will help equip the office, and this forum will also allow the group members to become more active, informed citizens. The Senior Advisory Group will serve as a platform for seniors to share their thoughts on issues that affect their well-being, including healthcare, housing, social services, and financial security. This group will also help identify the best ways to communicate with and support seniors in the community, ensuring that their voices are heard in policy discussions.
